Overview:The objective of Volcano Island is to help the games hero navigate a series of mazes in order to escape the haunted island. Throughout your adventure you will need to think quickly in order to outwit the islands spirit inhabitants and collect all the necessary items to advance to the next level of the game.You will have a total of 10 levels to navigate through in your attempt to escape the island, with each level being dynamically created each time you play. This adds a tremendous amount of replay value to Volcano Island and makes it a great way to kill some time on your BlackBerry. Pros: The graphics in this game look great, whether it is your character and his casual stride as he moves around the maze, the background with smoking volcano and clouds, or the little tikki spirits that chase you around, it all looks great. Cons: The controls for moving the hero around the maze are slightly off. There were a number of times I wanted to have the character turn a corner and he continued right along his path. It seems like you have to have perfect timing when you scroll left or right or your character will not change direction. A little more forgiveness when it comes to accuracy of movement would be nice and make the game much more enjoyable to play.
