Overview:SMS eraser is a handy little application that when installed on your BlackBerry, will allow you to send "self-destructing" text messages to any contact on your list. These messages can be set to destruct after a specific amount of time (from reading), or be set to disappear after your contact has read the message a set number of times.If you have ever wished you could send a picture or a short note to someone, but were scared that the message would be discovered by someone else or kept for an extended period of time, SMS Eraser is the application for you. Pros: You can send send self destructing photos or texts and you have multiple options for their method of destruction. In addition to that, BigString ensures that these messages are very difficult to copy, print or save once they have been received and the self destruct timer has started ticking. You also have the ability to send group SMS messages which is another added bonus. Cons: Not too many drawbacks I can see with this application aside from the inevitable loss of data on the receiving end of the transmission. In my testing I found that the people I sent self-destructing SMS messages to often forgot the message by the time I had asked them about it. This is probably more indicative of the quality of my contacts as opposed to the quality of the application though.
