Overview:

Pandora is a streaming music client. It originated on the Web, and in March 2009 they released a BlackBerry application

Pandora uses the Music Genome Project to break songs down in to fundamental attributes. It then uses the information provided by users to stream songs they want to hear. This is based on artists and songs selected and rated by the user.

Pros: Pandora provides a comprehensive streaming music service for BlackBerry. Songs load quickly so there are few buffering issues in good coverage areas. The ability to rate songs helps Pandora continue recommending relevant songs and artists.

Cons: Some of the features available on the Web version of Pandora are not available on the BlackBerry application. Additional artist preferences cannot be added to a channel from the BlackBerry app.
