Overview:Numb Thumb is a simple BlackBerry game that allows you to practice your typing skills on your favorite device. The Numb Thumb concept is simple. You begin the game with a blank screen and slowly words of various sizes begin to fall from the top of the screen. You must type all of the characters for each word before they hit the bottom of the screen or the game ends. As you progress further into the game, the difficulty is ramped up nicely. I was able to get to level 10 on my first try but admittedly I am not the fastest person using a BlackBerry. If you are looking for a fun little exercise to get you typing faster on the BlackBerry keyboard then Numb Thumb is just the ticket. If you are already a well oiled BlackBerry typing machine then you may want to look elsewhere. Pros: This game only costs a few bucks so it won't hurt your wallet and at the same time it increases your proficiency in one of the core functions of your BlackBerry - namely - typing. Numb Thumb is easy to pick up and play and is actually surprisingly rewarding despite it's simple design. Cons: The functionality of Numb Thumb is dead on. I would not change a thing there. I would however like to see something done with the background. The default fractal design does not really inspire me to keep staring at the screen. Perhaps making it morph colors would add a little more variety to each playing session. I agree with the editor, this game keeps you hooked! I just bought the game for my Blackberry Curve and I just upgraded to a Storm and bought it again!
