Overview:The Mortgage Utilities application for BlackBerry is a full featured mortgage calculator for your BlackBerry device. The calculator allows you to enter in all kinds of variables and see how they will affect the final monthly payment for your mortgage.Calculate your loan payments in a number of different ways (ie. based on the loan amount or based of how much you can afford to pay). Check out the amortization table on your loan, taking into account monthly and yearly payments. You can also see how your payments will affect any outstanding balance on your mortgage over time. Pros: Seeing the actual numbers change as I adjust individual variables was a nice touch. Much better than having to click a submit button to see the calculation. Also being able to see the outstanding balance at the end of my term was ideal. The software is incredibly easy to use and was up and running in seconds. Cons: The calculator adds maintenance fees to monthly cost and taxes which is not right. These are supposed to be calculated separately.
