Most bookmarks already loaded with minuet don't work (some do).
Web crawler does not work. Error message: minuet requires BES or a service provider. It just says on bottom banner "connecting..." but there is no status bar showing progress.
Ebays loads but a search doesn't give any results. I tried an ebay search around the same time with BB browser and I got search results.
Amazon error message: a different version @ amazon.com/access. Tried that and message was minuet can not open. I have no problem with amazon when I use the BB browser.
Pinstack - cannot open.
CNN - cannot open.
TVGuide - opened "read recap" and message was can not open. I have a link to TVGuide that I have used without any problems. Some articles opened I think but listings did not work (graphical layout)
Intellicast weather - finally FAQs opened. Nothing else on that site worked. I even tried changing preferences but still got some pictogram for a camera and "loading....." next to it.
Go.com didn't load completely. (It loaded fine without minuet using BB browser.) I tried some links from main page they did not work under "games by family fun" I tried several different games because it said You can play them online. Not with minuet. Jeopardy, Weave Words, and one or two others did not work. This site has a graphical layout with BB browser.
Under movies on go.com I was able to read info on "when in vegas" which was all text I think.
I tried craigslist because that site doesn't have any graphics. Discussion forums asked for frame; I selected bottom/top choice. I didn't see anything (screen blank). Went back to main page and tried postings. The 1st one was fine but the second posting under community didn't load. The front page has the current month which in minuet comes up each day on a separate line (not in traditional weekly layout).
And craigslist main page is a long process to scroll because of how minuet displays it. I tried changing display under preferences and that never really changed things on most sites. (Everything, every single link on CL's main page is on a separate line.) It did change the layout on a forum I post on with BB browser without any problems. With minuet some settings don't show the link to open up subforums. It just shows # of posts and pictogram and "loading.....". But not links or buttons.
Overall this browser is clunky. It doesn't have any advantages at all. In fact BB browser has so many more menu options. I have no idea how to post a link in minuet. I can copy a web address, email it, and text it. I don't see that option in minuet. I think minuet is described as "streamlined" which is a euphemism for fewer menu options.
Some sites load and work and I assume they are mainly text like sports central.
BB browser find feature finds a text search for me within a website.
Crummy browser. Be forewarned it has to be configured to your provider. This is not a browser that works right out of the box. Buyer beware on this one. I'll be deleting it and hopefully I can get a refund.
