Overview:If you have ever played the original Invaders! game on your PC you will know exactly how cool this game really is. The guys at Link-two have done a great job of capturing the look and feel of the original while keeping the controls as simple as possible.BlackBerry gamers of any skill level can pick up and play this title for hours on end. (I have another review to write after this one but I am having a hard time putting Invaders! down). If it is quick and easy game play you are after then Invaders! is right for you. Go ahead and download a copy and see if you can beat your old high scores. Pros: A faithful recreation of the classic pc game. The controls are as simple as can be, the sound effects are minimal but satisfying and the nostalgia factor can not be denied. Invaders! is a great game. Cons: There is an occasional lack of accuracy when firing on the enemy spaceships. I found that a number of shots that had clearly missed the intended target were recorded as hits. There is also an issue with the sensitivity of the trackball when controlling your ships movements. I found that maneuvering between enemy fire was sometimes difficult as I would move to far to the left or right with a slight movement of the trackball. While this was frustrating, it was by no means a deal breaker.
