Overview:
The FlipSide MP3 software finally delivers a suitable music browsing experience on the BlackBerry. No longer do you have to be stuck with the plain jane default media interface that RIM provides you. You can now slide through downloaded album artwork with ease and feel like the application is actually responding in a real way.This application is a solid improvement on the "old way" of playing your tunes, with the FlipSide Extras, you can even learn more about individual bands and touring information if you like.
Pros: The FlipSide MP3 Player delivered on it's promise to provide a slick and informative music browsing experience. The almost iPhone like method of "flicking" through your song collection is visually appealing and the control over what amount of information was displayed at any given time was a nice touch.
Cons: I can't mute anything. When I choose the mute option from the menu, the volume drops noticeably, but the song is still audible. The addition of a full mute would be appreciated. There was also an issue with the frame rate being a little too quick when scrolling through the album interface, but that is probably just me being picky.

Ease of download and installation: Installing the FlipSide MP3 software onto your BlackBerry is accomplished in a few simple steps. Follow the instructions below.
- Download the FlipSide.exe file
- Double click the FlipSide.exe file and install the program from your desktop
- Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager
- Choose Application Loader -- check the box beside the FlipSide application and click next
- FlipSide will now be on your BlackBerry and ready to groove!
