Overview:

Expense Manager is a solid offering from Total Wireless Solutions that allows you to keep track of all your business (and other) expenses while on the go.  Simply enter any relevant data into your BlackBerry of choice and the software will help you arrange it and sort out reports for submission if necessary.

The software is quick and easy to manage, allowing calculation of all types of expenses and providing fields for date, description, payment currency, exchange rate, payment methods and more.  Throw in compatibility with Microsoft Office products and there are no barriers to producing expense reports while on the go.

Pros: Expense Manager is very easy to use.  If you can type on the BlackBerry you can enter the data required.  Having the ability to export the generated expense reports in CSV format is quite handy and the categorization of expenses worked well.

Cons: There is not much going on visually with the software.  While it is clear and concise, a little bit of styling would be appreciated.  It would also be nice to have the ability to split individual expenses into parts for easier identification.  ex. A dinner bill being split into meal/taxes/tip.

  1. Download the  Expense Manager installation files.
  2. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  3. Choose Add and navigate to the  Expense Manager file folder.
  4. Highlight the .alx file and click Next
  5. Expense Manager will now be on your BlackBerry and ready to go!
