Overview:
Croker is an interesting take on the mobile poker experience. It pairs addicting game play with the core fundamentals of poker in order to come up with a very unique game that stands all on it's own.The objective is to make groups of cards that correspond with traditional poker hands eg. pairs, three of a kind, full house etc. Each winning hand will earn you more and more points, while drawing too many new cards will have the opposite effect.
Pros: The game looks great and it is all controlled using directional movements of the trackball. With smooth animation and a bright color pallet, Croker is easy on the eyes and a treat to play. The addition of the Bet Mania side game (essentially Hi-Low) is a great bonus as it allows you to quickly jump in and get your betting fix.
Cons: The sound effects used in Croker are only average in my opinion. There is a ringing sound that occurs quite often that tends to get a bit grating after a while. Some softer tones would make for a better gaming experience over long periods of time.
