Overview:

ControlBBanel is simple application for your BlackBerry that allows you to keep tabs on a number of system resources, manipulate those resources to get free memory, track the applications you have installed on your device and even delete them, all in one neat interface.

If you have been getting the dreaded hourglass on your screen so often that you are ready to throw it out the window, then this app is for you.  If you have a large number of third party applications on your BlackBerry you will find great value in ControlBBanel as it provides insight into each, such as file size, vendor info, installation date etc.

Overall, ControlBBanel is the best memory management application available for the BlackBerry and will surely find a home on many of the newer models that encourage you to connect and interact with multimedia and each other.

Pros: This app is just really simple to use.  Your device info is laid out under one tab, Loaded programs appear in another and the system tools under yet another tab.  Everything is easily understood and all the vital information is delivered.  I normally complain that graphics on BlackBerry apps are never up to snuff but ControlBBanel is clean and well laid out.

Cons: Deleting software still requires a reboot of the device.  Therefore it is not much different than deleting in the normal fashion.
