My son poured his milk on my blackberry i took the battery out straight away and dried it the phone, put the battery back in and it work for a few minutes but the keyboard wasnt working properly and then the screen went white so i blow dried it and the put it a bowl of rice tried it about 9 hours later and it just went white screen again and now the red light wont even come on. Is there a chance of it working again?

Hey , my mother wasted her drink on my blackberry about one in the morning and my phone was fine. but then when i got up for school, around 4 it wasn’t coming on, when i charge it the red light comes on and nothing else happen. I Put it in rice , do you think it would be fine ?

last night my blackberry curve 8520 got dropped in the toilet (the toilet was clean ) I did panic but what i did was i took the battery etc n then dried them all with a towel n the i blowdryed the with a hair dryer ( i know your not supposed to ) then put it on top of a lamp to dry then put it in rice for about 3 hours then took it out and put everything in it works still a little bit of water in it but that should drain out.

hi mate, my blackberry fell out of my pocket and into a puddle it was submerged for a good minute or so before i realised what had happened and was unable to switch it on, ive dried it as good as i can but three days hav past.
the rice trick wouldnt work now? should i just buy another one?

My daughter put my blackberry in a cup of coffee today and as far as I can tell only the screen went under, Imediatly took the sim card, media card and baterry out and dried it all, then put it back in and turned it on and it was fine for a couple of mins then the rollerball started to stick and then the screen went white so I have took the battery out etc and put it in a bowl of rice in the airing cupboard. Do you think this will help.

Hi, yesterday i dropped my phone in the toilet, freaked out a bit and went in there and yanked it out(No i didnt use the toilet before i dropped it in there). I immedietaley removed the battery and sim card and dryed it with a towel. I then placed it in rice. It has now been 26 hours. The back of phone shows a blue circle which indicates no water damage. I beleive that circle would have to be red to indicate that the phone is permanently damaged from the water. How much longer should I wait to test my phone?

So yeah this is going to be one of the weirdest comments ever…………. so i was running to the School Bus next thing i know im siting down on the Bus with my iced coffee and i’m like oh i should text my best freind i went to get it out of my Pocket and was Like CRAP !!! i’ts in my wet yard and of course being in Northern Indiana the weathers been really weird lately so it snowed the night before and then i look outside and of course it starts Raining……….. my aunt then picked it up and she had to leave for SaintLouis long story short she shipped it to me then tells me she found it in a Puddle have had it in Rice all day and haven’t even bothered to mess with it.

Hi my 2 yr old daughter immerse my torch 9810 in an inch of water she had in a bowl… i would say it was in there for like less than a minute… i immediately took off tyhe battery n evryting blow dried it with hot shots n cold shots… the led light lit wen i put the battery in ntng appeared on screen .. i tried again after cpl dries n ntng and ovr nite i left it open n nex morning it did come on loaded all n came on 2 home screen fuh like 2 mins cut off n i get no led lite again .. i came across ur site n i am trying the bowl of rice now any advice u can give me if i want it fix where can i get a motherboard and for how much id appreciate dat ,…. i have alot of info 2 lose n i wanna try and get back as much as i can thanking you in advance
