Starting with OS 4.5, Documents To Go, a BlackBerry version of the Microsoft Office suite, has been standard on BlackBerry smartphones. They’re not just giving away the software, though. The standard version comes on the phone, while Documents To Go Premium Edition costs $69.99. This provides key features unavailable in the standard version, including the ability to create new documents and spreadsheets. Michael at BerryReview thinks that $70 is a bit much for an upgrade, and I agree. Thankfully, he also provides a workaround of sorts to access some advanced features. It’s not perfect, but it’s something to check out on a summer Friday.
