By this point, you’re using the home screen shortcuts like a pro and the navigation shortcuts for your BlackBerry messages like a pro. Now we’ll move on to sorting and filtering your messages.
If you’re unsure of what is meant by filtering, the BlackBerry has shortcuts to allow you to see only certain types of messages at a time. Helpful if you’re looking for a text message or something else that you can’t bring up via search and numerous other reasons.
To filter messages, use any of the following commands…
| Incoming messages and calls only | Alt + I |
| Outgoing messages only | Alt + O |
| All phone calls | Alt + P |
| All SMS messages | Alt + S |
| All MMS messages | Alt + M |
| Voicemail messages only | Alt + V |
| Incoming messages only | Alt + I |
