This is strange, because it was working for me. I think I hit E and D when I tried it out.

This didn’t work when I tested it on my Blackberry Curve.
Are you sure it’s “any letter?”. Specific letters have functions (such as ‘T’ for top of message and ‘B’ for bottom of message)

Huh? This makes no sense. If you you hit ANY key when you return to the old message, this will not work. Example: hit R – and you are replying. Hit B and you are at the bottom of the message.

So maybe the idea is to hit ANY LETTER BEFORE leaving the message. This is also subject to the same problem: Not ANY letter will work.

Besides, when I return to the message I was reading, I NEVER EVER go back to the old location.

Maybe it is different on BBs other than Curve? (I use 8310).

The “hit any letter” doesn’t work for me on an 8820 running os 4.5

i tried it on 8310 and it didnt work. what model did it work for you on?
