So, now that you’ve learned how to use home screen shortcuts, we figured now is the time to teach you about one key navigating within the messages application.
If you’ve ever scrolled to the bottom of your email looking for something only to spend five minutes scrolling back up when you’re done, this post will save you some time!
So, when you’re in the “messages” application, using the following shortcuts will do the following things and probably save you a lot of time and scrolling…
| Oldest message | B |
| Newest message | T |
| Previous day | P |
| Next day | N |
| Find delivery errors | E |
| Oldest unread message | U |
| Search | S |
| Go to oldest message in thread | J |
| Going to newest message in thread | K |
| Compose | C |
| Saved messages | V |
| Scroll down by screen | Alt + space |
| Scroll up by screen | Caps + space |
As an added note, the T and B buttons will also work in BlackBerry messenger providing your cursor isn’t in the spot where you would normally type your messages.
