Natalia, a PIN is specific to a device. You can’t change it, and you can’t get your own unless you buy a new BlackBerry. Every time you get a new BlackBerry you get a different PIN, too.

i bought a blackberry curve off my friend and i want to use the bbm thats already installed on the phone but it has his pin and all that stuff.. ive never had a blackberry so i dont have my own pin, how do i get one?? i tried uninstalling the bbm and then reinstalling but its still his pin on it.. please help!

No, each BlackBerry has its own PIN, so you cannot get your old one. If you are a BIS user and are using the same BIS account as your old device, you can re-add your old contacts, though.

If i sell my old blackberry, what will happen to my old bbm pin? will my friends have to invite the new owner of the phone or will my old contact list automatically appear? How do i prevent the new owner of the phone not having my old contacts
