Depending on your Blackberry, you may have to do the handheld adjustment under "Setup > Email settings" rather than under "Messages > Options"

I can't really tell if you all were able to rectify the auto signature issue, but here is how you set up your auto signature right from the Storm (this is only if you are using the BIS (Blackberry Internet Service = personal or pop3 email) not the BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server = corp email).

From the today or short screen of icons, push the RIM logo button on the phone that looks like spots. This will open the all icons available.

Choose the set up icon.

Go to email settings.

For each email account you have set up highlight and click on the email address listed at the top of the page. Scroll down on the General Settings there to find what you are looking for.

From that page you can alter the address, your listed name as you would like it and signature. You signature can be blank or you can change it to something witty. Whatever.

There is also the option for auto blind carbon copy and sync on deleted items between device and account.

Be prepared, you must have your email account password in order to make any changes here.

Hit save and it will tell you if you were successful or not.

Good luck!

Am I missing something? I'm able to add text to the autosignature, but it still shows "Sent via my Blackberry wireless device" after the text I entered. I don't see this anywhere in the text box and it appear to be phantom. Help anyone? I have TMobile by the way.

You can do this from the settings page on a BlackBerry storm.

Just under Setup/Email Setup

Select the signature field, hit clear field in the BB menu, save, presto.

That said, i cannot seem to log into my BIS account, i even set up a new account for BIS via my storm. But nothing.

Ah well.
