Provider Reviews

  AT&T
Looking for great deals on your BlackBerry plan? AT &T’s wide coverage and multitude of features and add-ons make their data plans a great choice for any user who needs constant access at any time.
The best Canadian provider we’ve seen. Not only do you get a lot of phone choices, but their plans are a little cheaper, you can choose extra add-ons for a lower price, and you get more minutes, on average, than the other two providers. This is our number one choice for Canada.

T-Mobile UK – This company offers 50 MB of BlackBerry email for each plan, no matter what the plan. They do, however, have a fair use policy, and your data usage may be restricted if you go over.

Vodafone – the top UK company. They offer business and personal mobile plans. Watch how much data you’re using – anything over 6 MB will earn you an overlimit charge.

Bell’s got a great choice of plans and relatively good prices for BlackBerry phones (with a contract), but their extra data and minute charges are high. Still, you can get a good deal on their $55 plan – that’s our recommendation if you want more bang for your buck.

  O2
O2 is one of the leaders in mobile communications in the UK. Get both BlackBerry Enterprise and BlackBerry Internet. Service is an addition to a voice plan.
Is this a clone of Bell? The plans and prices are remarkably similar, but Telus does offer slightly different features on their plans, like PERKS and SPARK, which allow you to add features like text messaging, picture messaging, and more. You can only pick from two phones, though.

Can you hear me now? With Verizon’s data plans, you sure can! They include voice minutes, plus unlimited data, IM, and text messaging. Be prepared to pay for it, though – prices are high with this provider.

  Alltel
As BlackBerry plans go, Alltel offers great features and voice minutes for relatively good prices in their SmartChoice plan selection. However, don’t exceed your monthly minutes or you’ll incur high penalties - $0.40 per extra minute.

  Sprint
Although you can get many features with Sprint’s plans, there are only three to choose from. However, their prices can’t be beat, which makes this provider a good choice for small businesses or for single users.
