Happy Halloween everyone. No, I didn’t add any spooky sounds to the podcast this week. We just do it normal. Well, kinda not, since there are no device delays to speak of this week. That’s a good thing, and we roll with the punches to deliver the positive news of the week.

We have a little Halloween in us. If you’re going to a party tonight, make sure you have the flickr BlackBerry application so you can take pictures of your favorite costumes.
We talk a lot about the Bold. AT&T customers will get access to the the company’s WiFi hotspots, just like iPhone users. That should help keep their 3G network less cluttered. Or so they hope. We also go into pricing. Rogers brough theirs down to $299.99. AT&T will launch it at $399.99, but with a $100 mail-in rebate until Christmas. Best Buy Canada, though, looks to have the best deal: $199.99 plus a $50 gift card. Yeah. If you want one, go there. Don’t go to Best Buy in the U.S. or CompUSA, though.
While Rogers preps for the 8220, T-Mobile is getting it in red. Sweet deal. It’s still a bit pricey at $150, but that price could come down. Word is that Wal-Mart will start selling the device for $100.
