It’s our longest BBGeekcast yet. There’s just so much to go over, with the Storm being announced this week. Yeah, we knew about it a while ago, but it’s always exciting to hear it officially. There’s plenty more where that came from, and we spend the bulk of the time discussing it. If you want some hands-on with the Storm, check out the slew of links we provide in the BlackBerry News Wire.

It’s a Storm-fest. We talk about the announcement, and what it could mean for not only consumers, but Enterprise customers. I talked about it over at PDAStreet last week. For everyone who wants an iPhone, but whose company won’t allow them, this could be their solution.
As if the Storm wasn’t enough, BGR reports, via two independent sources, that RIM could be working on a Storm-Bold mashup. This is said to include a 5.0 megapixel auto-focus camera, and a “near-HD” screen. Geeze, can’t you let us be excited about the Storm? Further, they suggest that RIM is already working on the 2nd and 3rd gen Storms.
We also go over the Microsoft speculation, which will probably end up being just that. And if you’re a CDMA ‘Berry user, you’re in luck. Looks like RIM is readying CDMA versions of the Bold, Pearl flip, and Javelin/Curve.
