We run a little long on this BBGeekcast, because I wanted to squeeze in two major rumors for WES: The Tour 9630 and OS 5.0. The intent was just to introduce the rumors, but I went on little rant about OS 5.0. I’d have liked to see a true overhaul of the OS, rather than have it be more like OS 4.9.

After that we run down some of the quick hits from the week: BlackBerry Unite!’s demise, and its replacement with BlackBerry Groups, an on-device collaborative application. Color me excited. And then there’s the other WES announcement…kinda disappointing, really, but at least a few people will be excited.
