Highlights include:
We talked about the rumored release date of April 14th for the T-Mobile Pearl 8120. Yeah, the last date came and went. I guess all we can do is cross our fingers and hope they don’t blow this deadline, too.
I don’t know much Java, though I did ace an intro course during my sophomore year of college. So I can’t tell you much about RIM’s new Java Development Environment plugin for the Eclipse developing environment. As I’ve heard another prominent BlackBerry blogger say, they keep me here for my looks, not my brains.
We also discussed our discussions for the week — and we’ll be sure to discuss the discussion of the discussion next week. Anyway, I talked about GPS in your BlackBerry. We’ll talk about other location-based services next week. And I mentioned the iPhone vs. BlackBerry debate, which will surely be discussed in more depth in the coming weeks.
And, in closing, RIP, Russell Shaw.
