Podcasting is like blogging in so many ways. What I’ve noticed most is that it takes a while to get used to the medium. I’ve been blogging since 2005, but I didn’t hit any kind of groove until late 2006 at the earliest. So trust me when I say I’ve been wary of my performance on the podcast for the first two weeks. But I think we’ve got a good one this week, where we wrap up the happenings of the week. And I got Rae Hoffman, founder of BBGeeks.com, to do a little segment for us.

Highlights include:
The Pearl 8120 touches down at AT&T. And it’s got a secret present: WiFi. I’ve been dying for a WiFi BlackBerry, so I’m pretty envious of T-Mobile Curve and eventual AT&T Pearl users. Speaking of the Curve, I also talk about the Curve coming to Telus, and how it was pretty much exposed as a Photoshopped hoax. We’re still waiting on that one….
Puretracks is preparing to launch a DRM-free music store for the BlackBerry. This is going to be an over-the-air service, so there are still concerns about the data rates in Canada and the speed of the EDGE network. But all in all, it’s a cool service. And I want my copy of Liberal Animation back!
I touched briefly on the Gmail topic we had been discussing this week. Upon further inspection, I’m sticking with the application for now.
And, of course, I chatted with the lovely Rae Hoffman.
Hope you enjoy the show. As always, I promise that if you listen, I won’t be boring.
