We never like to hear about delays in BlackBerry releases. But it seems we’re getting just that, as rumors swirl that the BlackBerry Bold won’t see an AT&T shelf until mid-August. Once again, it’s just a rumor, but this one seems to have some traction. Yet it appears Rogers is still on track for a July release. Could AT&T be purposely holding back the Bold in favor of the iPhone? Some have suggested as such. I’m not sure it makes sense. But listen up for the details.

Highlights include:
RIM released their financial data for the first quarter of 2008. Not bad, not bad at all. They’re up 2.3 million subscribers, 60 percent of whom were of the consumer type. The business/consumer split is now about 60/40.
Yay for syncing iTunes to the BlackBerry!
