On Tuesday, August 3, RIM and AT&T will hold an event in NYC. No one thought twice about what it might be about. The 9800 is coming, and it’s coming on AT&T, so it doesn’t take an insider to put two and two together. We’ll be there to get all the details first hand, so stay tuned on Tuesday.
That won’t be the only OS 6 device in AT&T’s near future. See, the 9700 has only 256MB of RAM, so no OS 6 for it. We have heard rumblings of a refresh that would add the necessary RAM, and this week we saw it in full force from multiple sources. It doesn’t look too far away. There’s not much to get excited about, really. Other than OS 6, I guess.
The Black Pad? C’mon RIM. You can do better than that.
