We’re number one! We’re number one! We as in BlackBerry, of course, which had the top-selling handset in December 2008, the Curve. It beat out the iPhone, which came in at No. 2. The Storm followed in the third spot, and the Bold hit the list at No. 6. We talk about that and more on the show.

So the top-selling handset in the country for December was one available on all platforms. Does this say something about exclusive handset deals? Not really. I explain why.

Is the Bold/Niagra really coming to Sprint? I’d say so, even if the customer service reps are saying otherwise.

We also get a look at BIS 2.6, which should hit carriers in March or April. There aren’t too many upgrades, but it can make Gmail less of a hassle. Plus, you can change your email signature on your WAP browser.
