There’s plenty to talk about this week, including the BlackBerry Application Store. We saw a preview of what will and won’t be available there, and the one thing you won’t see is themes. This is a bummer. I explain why this is not only bad for users, but for developers as well. Plus, a little but on why RIM’s pay-to-submit scheme has a hole or two in it.
There was a bit of news on the BlackBerry Niagra, long thought to be the CDMA version of the Bold. It appears that’s at least half accurate. We heard that it’s going to be smaller than the Bold, but bigger than the Curve 8900. Does this mean that we won’t see a 3G Curve on CDMA anytime soon? Probably not. But it makes you wonder…
