Hey, it’s our last show before Christmas. Not sure exactly what that means. Anyone else have little of their holiday shopping done? Anyway, we’ve got some BB News to discuss, including a couple of device launches, one new. Plus, you’re about to be able to watch live TV on your Berry. We also have Jeff Bacon from Magmic games on the line to talk about recent trends with BlackBerry gaming.
So click on over here to hear the BBGeekcast (15 min, 26 sec)
And don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast so you won’t miss future episodes!
You can also subscribe to the BBGeekcast in iTunes.
Highlights include:
SlingPlayer on your BlackBerry. We’ve been waiting for this since they started whispering about it in October 2007. We got a treat with a video demo from Dave at Sling Media.
A couple of new BlackBerry devices released in the past week: Curve 8350i from Nextel, and the Curve 8320 from AT&T. We’ve been waiting on both for a while. The Nextel Curve was rumored to hit December 1, but only hit shelves this week. No biggie. The Curve on AT&T was supposed to hit sometime in October. At least it wasn’t a Boldian delay.
Finally, we talk to Jeff from Magmic, discussing some trends in BlackBerry gaming, as well as a look at the future.
