The Bold is the only real highlight. I talk about the release, and the seeming unavailability of the device. If you’ve ordered it online and have received it already, drop me a line and let me know (jpawlikowski at bbgeeks).
The conversation, of course, turns to the Thunder/Storm/9530. Why? Because I’ve heard so many Bold/iPhone comparisons lately. The Bold really isn’t the answer to the iPhone. It’s another in RIM’s line of business devices which have seeped over into the consumer market. Make no mistake. They’re still going for corporate customers here. They’re just trying to pick up a greater market of consumers than they did with the 88xx series.
