Not only that, but we’ll rank ‘em by importance, so you can more easily skim the items and read the ones of most significance. Curve to launch twice in T-Mobile
Last week we were psyched up to hear about the February launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 on T-Mobile. This week some of the details become a bit clearer. The February 11 release date is still the prominent rumor, though I did hear January 27th if a few things go right. Even before that, though, T-Mobile will launch the Curve for business customers on January 19. BlackBerry Rocks got some information on the Curve pricing. For business customers, it will be $249.99 with a one-year renewal. The two-year price is $199.99, and that appears to be what consumers will pay.

Real time email delivery over BIS
The kind folks at BerryReview have created a list of webmail accounts which deliver real-time to BlackBerry. Check it out over there. They list the services, plus any extras they offer (like an icon on the home screen). They say near real-time delivery for those services, though as I’ve said with Gmail, if you use the IMAP you can get absolutely instant delivery. Sometimes a message appears on my Berry before it loads on my Gmail inbox.

AT&T getting the Curve, too
RIM showed off the Curve at CES, though with a major telling detail. It appears that it appeared with AT&T branding, suggesting that the nation’s No. 2 carrier (still weird to type that) will soon be Javelin throwers as well. There’s still time for them to announce the device at about the same time as T-Mobile, but the guess is that they’ll have it a bit afterward. Problem is, as we learned last week, that AT&T isn’t exactly making friends with its 2G customers. If you’re noticing problems with your current AT&T non-Bold BlackBerry, you might want to think twice before picking up the 8900 with them.

Fido will carry BlackBerry devices
Back in December, or maybe it was November, a rumor spread that Fido would be back in the BlackBerry business. Someone within the company debunked the rumor, though not in a manner which suggested that they would not get the devices. Turns out, they will. The devices are on their way, and training will begin next week. The bad news is that the 8100 could be its first device. Seriously? Even after the 8110, 8120, and 8220 were released? Even so, it’s good to see another operator carrying the BlackBerry brand.

RIM fixes PDF attachment vulnerability
Did you know that you were exposed to a security vulnerability if you downloaded and viewed a PDF on your BlackBerry? It seems to have been a problem for those on a BES, whereby someone could send a memory-corrupting virus on a PDF attachment. RIM has released a patch, so the issue is fixed. I just feel bad for anyone who was affected by it.

Viigo to integrate Twitter
We know more than a few BlackBerry Twitter addicts. We also know plenty of BlackBerry Viigo users. So what do you get when you roll them together? You get what looks like a quality integration of Twitter into Viigo. The beta version should be coming our way soon.

BlueBerries are good for you
Clones. They’re part of technology. The latest we’ve seen is the BlueBerry, and you can probably guess what it mimics. At a glance it looks like a Bold, but upon closer inspection you can see that it has a button in place of the trackball. Also, the Send and End keys are on the inside, while there is no set Menu button. But I think I’m getting a bit too deep into the nuances. It’s $164.99 and it’s a quad-band phone, so you can probably hook it up on any GSM carrier. If fakes are your thing.

The Presidential BlackBerry
The Obama BlackBerry (BarackBerry) saga has been going on since after the election. Last week we heard that he’s going to fight to keep the device. This caused the folks at CrunchGear to imagine a Presidential smartphone. It’s a pretty powerful device, needless to say. Sadly, though, we also learned that the soon-to-be President’s alternatives don’t look too attractive. In other words, the Palm Treo’s fat older brother. Ugh.

Slacker streaming radio for BlackBerry. I’ve been waiting for this one. It’s kinda like Pandora, which is enough for me.
