It seems Verizon is jumping on the visual voicemail bandwagon, as they will offer the service on a number of their phones later this summer and into the fall. This after Apple settled a suit claiming that they infringed on the same technology. Anyway, there’s a point of what this has to do with the BlackBerry. According to an Engadget Mobile report, Verizon is planning to launch visual voicemail on a “New RIM device (touchscreen).” Hellooooo BlackBerry Thunder. I have to say, RIM has done a good job of keeping the leaks on this one alive.
