There’s some good news, bad news over at BlackBerryNews this morning. The good news, and I don’t see why this is breaking, is that AT&T is starting their BlackBerry Bold employee training. You’d think this means we’re set for a release in the near future. The bad news, of course, is that the rumored release doesn’t fall into what many would call the “near future.” Late August/early September is the latest word, and I’m inclined to believe it. This is AT&T, after all.
For some news on the Javelin, Ronen tells us that instead of a mini-USB jack like we’re used to, the Javelin will feature a micro-USB connector. Yes, that means you can’t use your current charger with the Javelin. Booooo. Ronen himself puts it best: “I guess RIM is hoping to make a killing on adapters…” Hells yes, they are.
