Talk about a runaround. After seeing earlier today that we might have to wait until mid-month for the Curve on Sprint and Verizon, we find out once again that we were the victims of misinformation. Of course, Phone Arena pulled a cut and run with their piece (you’ll notice the broken link in the last one), and yeah, I’m just a little pissed off. Why? Because Verizon’s Curve appears to be available (with a tip o’ the hat to Engadget Mobile.
I apologize for the misinformation earlier. Last time I trust that site for any information.

i’m jealous and pissed
I just don’t get why all the various blogs feel the need to repeat the ‘news’ from the others. Do all bloggers think we only read one feed? I mean come on, look at EVERY blog regurgitating Boy Genius 9000 and Niagra/Javelin news, and every blog is regurgitating Kevin’s 9000 ‘review’. So if you’re gonna regurgitate news from Phone Arena and such, you risk being not only wrong when you are wrong bur also wrong when they are wrong.
Caveat Emptor.
Valid point, DavidB. Lesson learned.
I just got mine today! Woo hoo! Was only $219 after rebates, which is an excellent price to begin with. Such a great device, guys. Way better than the 8830 and Pearl.
Yep, got mine the other day and it was only $112 (I have a corp discount) but even without the discount it’s about $130 if you: 1. have a renew for 2, 2. are upgrading to a data plan (required) and 3. get the $50 mail in rebate.
