Last time we met for our bi-weekly theme review, we covered a number of Storm themes. Those tend to get neglected, so the post dedicated to just Storm themes made sense. To balance things a bit we’re going with some Curve themes this week, for all of you OS 4.5ers out there. Next time we’ll hit some Curve 8900 and Bold themes. The Tour should be out around then, and you can bet we’ll do up a bunch of themes for that, too. We should also probably work on some reviews for Pearl themes. After Storm users, I think they’re the most neglected of the BlackBerry users.

Most of the time when we’re reviewing themes, we go with the Curve versions. That’s because 1) it’s the device I’m most familiar with, and 2) more people have a Curve than any other single BlackBerry model. Today, though, we’re going for something different. We’re seeing a lot of BlackBerry Storm themes hitting the Web, and it’s high time we rounded up some for a theme review. So, after the jump, we’ll launch into a ton of Storm theme reviews. There will be a few more than the normal three we review every other week.

We review all types of BlackBerry themes here on BBGeeks, so we thought it time to explain the different type of themes. You might see something like Cucamonga TodayPlus theme, or Rattlesnake Zen theme. You can get an idea of what the theme looks like by glancing at it, but sometimes it helps to know what this specific lingo means. After the jump we’ll define the most common types of BlackBerry themes you’ll see when browsing around.

I couldn’t be more excited to be doing another edition of Theme Review Wednesdays. Why the excitement over a few premium BlackBerry themes? Because this week we’ve got a brand spankin’ new design from personal favorites Hedone Design. This one will not disappoint. Plus, as always there will be a couple other high-quality themes (or prominent themes that have flaws), so follow the jump and see what we’ve got in store for this week.

We’re going with a theme for this week’s theme review feature: 2009 movies. We’ll go with one released earlier this year, one currently in theaters, and one slated for later this summer. The idea actually comes from Themes4bb, who sent us a theme for the upcoming G.I. Joe movie. So we looked for some other movie themes, and came up with two others: Wolverine (though the theme isn’t geared towards the movie) and Watchmen. After the jump we’ll dive into these blockbusters.

It’s time yet again to dig into three BlackBerry themes with our bi-weekly Theme Review Wednesdays feature. This week we’re sticking with our mainstays: Hedone Design, Cherri Chiodo, and Gadgetbean. If you are a theme designer or love a theme designer which you haven’t seen featured here, hit me up at jpawlikowski at bbgeeks.com and I’ll take a look. Maybe it will be featured in a future article. For now we’ve got these three, and I have to say that I really enjoy this week’s crop. So, without further ado…

We’re going out on a limb with this week’s Theme Review Wednesdays by taking on a Storm theme. To say I’ve been reluctant to do this in the past doesn’t quite describe it — it’s more that I’ve been unable because I don’t have (nor do I really want) a Storm. Thankfully, my brother visited last week and I convinced him to let me download and review a theme or two. He’s a good kid, I tell ya. We’ve also got themes from Gadgetbean and BlackBerry Theme Park, two outlets that haven’t gotten nearly enough love in recent weeks.

With so many themes to choose from, it gets tough sometimes to pick out the ones for review. It’s pretty clear that we stick with certain designers for stretches, and with good reason. Most of the ones we regularly feature are excellent designers pumping out massive numbers of themes. If you’re a designer and want to see your theme reviewed here, just drop me a line: jpawlikowski bbgeeks com. Be forewarned: I’m honest in the review, so if it’s bad I’ll say so. That said, onto this week’s crop:

Ooh, lookey lookey, it’s the second straight week of Theme Review Wednesdays. Usually we alternate theme reviews with how-tos, but given our NCAA tournament contest with Themes4BB, we decided to write up two of their themes this week, including one totally related to the tournament. It’s a little late in timing, but here are this week’s themes for your BlackBerry.

We’re about to close the book on February, but before we do let’s dive into one more edition of Theme Review Wednesdays. As always, we’ll take a look at three different BlackBerry themes this week, discussing the plusses and minuses of each. You’ll notice BBGeeks fave Cherri Chiodo makes an appearance this week, as does Hedone Design. So what are we waiting for? Let’s get into this week’s batch of themes.
