How do you choose your BlackBerry theme? Do you just pick ones that look nice? Or are you loyal to a particular developer? When I search around themes for these bi-weekly reviews, I admit bias towards developers. For instance, if Hedone comes out with a new theme between these features — as they did this past week — I’ll mostly likely review it. Ditto for developers like Cherri Chiodo. I feel like I can go to them for solid themes every time. This week, though, I’m going back to a few old friends who might feel a bit neglected, BlackBerry Theme Park and Gadget Bean. I’ve enjoyed their themes in the past, so let’s see what they’re offering this time.

Since this will be our last theme review feature before Halloween, we’ll highlight a troika of spooky BlackBerry themes. It’s also good that we do this early because, really, who wants a Halloween theme the day before? If you’re into the kinda-sorta-but-not-really-a-holiday, you probably want that theme for a few weeks. In fact, you might already have a Halloween theme loaded up. Maybe you’ll find a cooler one here. In fact, since we’re leading with Hedone Design, I bet you do.

In our bi-weekly rundown of premium BlackBerry themes, Hedone Design is a regular. They create some great designs, and I often find myself gushing over them in reviews. We close this week with some excellent news. From now through October 22, you can get half off any Hedone Design theme. It’s in celebration of their first birthday, so stop by and check out the selection. Find what you want in their theme store and then enter the code HD50BDAY09. Enjoy the selection.

How many BlackBerry themes have you used in the past year? Do you use the same theme for a while and then switch? Do you rotate between a handful of themes? Either way, there are plenty of options to choose from, and it’s our goal to highlight the very best with our bi-weekly feature. These theme designers work hard to provide functional, attractive themes. So if you’ve been stuck on your current theme for a while and want to change the way your Berry looks, check out our crop of three — or, really, any set of BlackBerry theme reviews we’ve done.

This week I decided to check out what themes some other BlackBerry blogs were featuring. I hit upon a pretty good lot. It actually took a little time to whittle them down to three. And then, of course, I found a killer theme on Themes4bb, and I just couldn’t pass it up. So there are two themes which were featured this week on other BlackBerry blogs, and then the one from Themes4bb. It promises to be quite a theme exploration.

I hope you guys find some use out of this bi-weekly feature. Surely not everyone picks up all of these themes, but I think it’s a quality showcase of the premium BlackBerry themes out there. Yes, there are free ones, but I try to pick premium ones which stand out from the free crowd. I think we have three such themes this week, including one which I stumbled upon and absolutely love. From an aesthetic standpoint, at least.

It’s old school here today at BBGeeks’ Theme Review Wednesdays. We’re going to three of our oldest contributors: Themes4bb, Cherri Chiodo, and JC Designs. All three create and distribute excellent themes, and we’re lucky to have them among the top BlackBerry theme creators. We’ll take a look at new ones from Cherri and Themes4bb, and a top-seller from JC Designs. As always, it promises to be a theme-filled experience.

Is it Wednesday already? Guess it’s time to sort through all the themes I’ve checked out over the past few weeks and compile them into our bi-weekly feature, Theme Review Wednesdays. This time around we have two themes for the 4.6 and higher operating systems, and just one that works with younger builds. That one, though, is a bit special. As we’ve done a couple of times before, it’s for the ladies.

It’s time once again for our bi-weekly feature, Theme Review Wednesdays. Why Wednesdays? I have no idea. Theme Review Thursdays would have been more alliterative, I suppose. Maybe it’s because it’s the middle of the week, and everything seems so mundane. So what better way to break the cycle than to change up your BlackBerry theme? Yeah, that’s the ticket. This week we take a look at three themes that offer a bit of a different look. The one by Hedone Design is especially worth a look — as is all their stuff.

It feels like a while since the last time we put up three BlackBerry themes for review, but no, it was two weeks ago, just like every other time. This time we’re not going with any particular theme to the theme reviews. Instead we’ve got a smorgasbord: one for the Bold, one for the Curve running 4.5, and one for basically every BlackBerry model. We’re including one from Hedone Design, one that goes along with a current trend on BBGeeks, and we’ll finish off with the theme I’ve been using since October.
