Pros:
You get instant activation, a free 30-day trial, and free software, like many other companies. Lanlogic also offers aggregated disk storage and you don’t have to commit to a minimum mailbox requirement. You also get free VPN support and free Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008 for Macs. They also offer Windows SharePoint Hosting for free when you sign up for an account.

Cons:
If you want extra storage, you’re going to be paying for it. Lanlogic charges $10 per 1GB of additional storage.  Plans start with up to 1GB per mailbox. You also have to pay a small fee for anti-virus and anti-spam protection if you don’t have a shared Microsoft Exchange account.

Plans and Pricing: Lanlogic offers two plans. The Basic plan includes 500MB of storage per mailbox, and costs $9.95 per month per mailbox. The Standard plan includes 1GB of storage per mailbox, and costs $13.95 per month per mailbox. Additional storage costs $10 per month per mailbox. BES service costs an additional $10 per month per user.

Firewall Protection:
Lanlogic’s servers connect using an encrypted secure connection. As well, Lanlogic is a Microsoft Gold company with network tools to ensure security.

Anti-Spam and Virus Protection: All plans include Postini anti-virus and anti-spam software.

Set-up Fee: There is no set-up fee for normal accounts; however, wireless accounts have $50 set-up fees.

Other Devices Supported: Lanlogic supports Treo, Apple iPhone, Windows Mobile SmartPhones and PocketPCs, and BlackBerry.

Customer Service:
Lanlogic provides real-time phone service without wait times; as well, they also have a special support department for Macs and a network status page on their site so you can monitor the network at any time.

Backup History Storage: Lanlogic offers archiving for $250 a month at the least. If you are using the 2007 Exchange Server, the company makes daily backups and monitors the server 24/7.
