RIM looks to hook your BlackBerry to your stereo

Posted by Joe on January 31, 2008

If you believe the media, you think that the BlackBerry is in some heated rivalry with the iPhone. A few months ago, many experts considered that bunk. RIM hadn’t shown a decline in sales since the inception of the iPhone. Plus, the BlackBerry focuses on the business market, while the iPhone is widely considered a consumer phone. Then things changed a bit. Apple announced that they would be offering Enterprise services for the iPhone. And now we’re seeing RIM make a consumer-related move: Offering a device that hooks your BlackBerry up to your stereo.

Rogers rumored to be picking up Pearl

Posted by Joe on January 29, 2008

A few weeks ago, we heard that Rogers was lower its data rates to a more, you know, reasonable level. This is on the heels of rival Canadian wireless carriers, namely Bell Mobility, offering substantially better rates for specific phones. Then we heard a birdie mention something about an unlimited data plan on Rogers, which is kind of strange, considering the costs of data just a few months ago. So it makes sense now that Rogers is rumored to be bringing the BlackBerry Pearl on board.

Valentines Day-appropriate, you’re going to see a number or red and pink Pearls over the next month or so. Nearly every provider is jumping on the bandwagon, so I figured we’d go over who is offering what in which color.

Posted by Joe on January 25, 2008

If you’re reading this, chances are you love your BlackBerry. Either that, or you’re frustrated with it and are looking for a few tips to get you moving.
