Well, when they opened the first stores a few years ago, the BB was only at "peak" with business consumers. It was known as a business phone. Now, with the introduction of the Pearl and the Curve, they've gone "mainstream" in addition to being the best business smartphone available. So, a store with their newfound popularity across a very wide range of demographics, might have a much better shot this time due to being launched at a time where the BlackBerry has enough mainstream adopters to support it. If that makes sense. :)

Well, Radio Shack and Best Buy also carry every model of phone on the planet and I doubt they get a lot of BB foot traffic in those types of stores. Additionally, I'd venture to guess the training isn't at intense. I really was impressed with the amount these guys knew. I think they will indeed be held to higher standards. My only question as I mentioned is if the timing is right for this type of store.

The whole "multi carrier" issue is what scares me about this, we see places like Radio Shack and Best Buy doing this, with ALL devices and carriers and sometimes thats too much information to maintain, keeping track of all the carriers plans and so on and so forth seem to be a problem at times, I'm not saying this is the case with this store as I have never personally been there, but the potential for problems is there and hopefully this store will be held to higher standards considering their product point.
