What he left out is that you have to go to Media and Ringtones and select the created ringtone as the ringtone for one's phone. It is not as intuitive as the Palm is but it does work. I play blues harmonica and recorded something and made that my ringtone. VERY distinctive!

But he doesn't tell how to MAKE IT THE RINGTONE on the Blackberry! My Palm Pilot was MUCH simpler to convert sounds to ringtones - the Blackberry folks have hidden where you make it the ring tone deep in the apps of the phone.

Business users should really stop using songs for ringtones. Check out www.exectones.com for professional tones.
