I purchased the Carcomm cradle and I like it. I actually hard-wired the cradle into my car and i think they make the cable somewhat long for this reason. Because it is long you can easely route the cable through your dashboard. I agree maybe it is not convenient if you use the cigarette-plug but it sure is when you hard-wire it.

Hmm have to agree, thats entirely too much wiring to have around the car for sure.
