There was a time when you could only get a pretty, colorful BlackBerry Pearl from T-Mobile, which offered various finishes on the earliest Pearl incarnation. But now we’re seeing the 8120 rolled out on GSM networks and the 8130 on CDMA networks. And with it is coming a new color scheme. Valentines Day-appropriate, you’re going to see a number or red and pink Pearls over the next month or so. Nearly every provider is jumping on the bandwagon, so I figured we’d go over who is offering what in which color.

First is news today that Bell Mobility, one of Canada’s largest providers, will begin to offer the Pearl in red.
On the American side, Verizon is offering a pink Pearl, while Sprint will nab it in red. AT&T will get a red BlackBerry, but theirs will be the Curve, not the Pearl.
Finally, Alltel will be adding the Pearl in red starting sometime this quarter.
Of course, you can always have nabbed a red Pearl from T-Mobile, though it’s the old model. They’re slated to release the 8120 in mid-February, though there has been no announcement of a red version. I wouldn’t be surprised to see news of that hit in the next week or so. T-Mo can’t afford to fall behind in the colored BlackBerry race — a game it practically invented.
