As always iam a great fan of the Blackberry, i was at the last WES in Orlando and saw the sneak preview of the new Bold. Without doubt it is an all round winner, cant wait for it to finally come out. I guess when the touch screen emerges that will silence all opposition for a while!

So far its been a smooth year for RIM. I think the 8800 series are quite sleek and will become a real catch on. Question: i have an 8300, a great device, only problem is the battery life is nothing to write home about. Has anybody else experienced this or did i get a bad machine?

I am wanting to upgrade technology, but the smaller keys will probably force me to someone other than Blackberry. With the company I work for taking our business phones away - I cannot wait another year for something compatible to the the HTC Mogul.

Debo, I think you hit it with this line: "Perhaps Blackberry hs only itself to beat." At this point, it doesn't look like a competitor can do in RIM. It's going to take a blunder on their part to get things moving, if they're going to plummet at all.

RIM has no doubt stayed not only on our minds, but also in our hands. Its hard to imagine what any other company will do to beat them in "08. Perhaps Blackberry has only itself to beat. I would like to see them raise the bar on functionality as well though.
