We’re catching this one from RIMarkable, though we haven’t been able to find too many corroborating reports. It appears for at least some people that there was a BlackBerry Internet Service outage last night. It started around 6:30 p.m. Eastern, and lasted until about 2:30 a.m. Once again, it’s not clear if this was isolated to one region, though it would appear that way, since there weren’t widespread reports.
Like RIMarkable, we can’t remember if there was an outage in November. There were a couple of wider-spread ones in September, and if we seem to remember one in October. All in all, RIM shouldn’t be allowing even one outage per month.
Another reason the outage might not have been reported is that BlackBerry Enterprise Server users did not experience it. If it was regional and didn’t affect BES users, we can understand the lack of reporting.
If you experienced an outage last night, let us know in the comments.
