Finally I can use my shat berry without the stupid timer draining the battery and making it near impossible to use anything on my phone. I took out the battery. No go. I took out memory card. No go. I tried to delete all e-mails and it wouldn't let me. Then finally I was able to delete all my text messages and problem solved (for now). I hope I never see another timer!! Note to self: NEVER get another Blackberry Curve. Ya'll are life savers. THANK YOU! Sometimes they ship with older os versions. Once upgraded - remove FB if you still have the hourglass happening. I would also look at apps like twitter and other IM apps you may have open and updating every minute.
