I have at&t blackberry curve 8310 stuck in reboot mode, hour glass, red light, black screen over and over. Have tried desktop reload of operating system and get error message cannot connect to device during multistage reload. Have tried jl_cmdr wipe. Can't seem to get anything to work. Is there any fix for this?

That worked great! Thank you! I have been having this happen for a long time. It would come about, I would spend a day taking the battery out, and deleting everything I could from my BB, then it would go away only to come back in a few weeks... This worked great! Thank you

If you have wiped it and loaded the latest OS from your carrier and your phone is still turning off I would suggest looking into having it replaced.
