		<description>@Dafink Yes wiping it could potentially help if it is a software issue.  Try doing a battery pull or two before wiping though to see if that clears it up.</description>

Check out individual apps to see if he has changed your permissions or account details.

Check your BIS account and Gmail apps If you have them to see if any filters were added to specific senders or keywords.</description>

		<description>All well and good, but so much of the trouble that leads to the supposed needing to wipe is caused by a OS memory leak. Until RIM fixes the known leak in OS 4.2 (which most of us are running), battery pulls and eventual device wipes are the sad state in which we live.</description>

		<description>Found out the hard way that you can also wipe the Blackberry 8820 by enabling password protection and entering wrong ones 10 times. Actually, the Blackberry wiped itself. Scrubbed it, too.</description>
