thanks a ton, lots of help. @ sray.. I believe if you save a back-up file, your info will be stored on your pc, which you could then load onto your BB therefore, no, it will not delete your settings/ info. Well... correction the process will delete everything, but if you back it up, it wont matter in any case.

@shiu I would check out this post and try the steps listed to get the internet browser icon back.
http://www.bbgeeks.com/quick-tips/what-to-do-if-you-dont-have-blackberry-internet-browser-881146/

This problem may be the result of you installing a version of the OS that is from another carrier as well. Double check that your running an authorized version of the new OS.

Hi.. I have a question in regards to upgrading the OS on my BB. I have a curve 8320 and I have just upgraded the OS from 4.2 to 4.5.
All seems OK until I realised that the browser configuration that USED to have Internet Browser selection in it is Gone now.. Now it only have the Hotspot browser and the WAP from my service provider to choose from.

Is there anything that I might have to do as well?? Thanks heaps for the help!!

I am considering updating my 8320 curve and have a question. I have downloaded the new OS files and performed a backup with desktop manager. Will I lose my 3rd party applications that were added to my device and have to re-install them? I do not have the capability to re-install a couple of them so I don't want to lose them. Thanks.
