i forward all work email thru my gmail and it catches the spam. works really good. i can download emails from both accounts to my bb and its been great.

however, having an issue when replying to work emails. my bb replies to emails as my gmail and not my work email. if i forward the message, i can selec which account it gets sent from. but on a reply its only gmail. ----- strange. anyone have any insight into this?

Barry, good point. But spam is still downloaded to the device and consumes bandwidth which is on roaming pretty expensive...

I faced exactly the same problem with my 5 mail accounts. All of them have very poor spam filters and I was bothered setting up dozens of rules in BIS (which are crap, too).
I know let GMail collect all mails and configured it as the only account in BIS. In addition with GCal and Google Mobile Sync I now have my own BES-like services - powered by Google (awaiting sync for tasks and contacts)
