I have an old 8310 Curve. I don't want to use the browser, and have deleted the WAP, etc., from the service books. That takes care of the browser icons, but all I have to do is do a hard reset (remove battery) and the device resets it all. How can I permanently remove the browser from the OS so that a hard reset won't reinstall it?

Okay so all of a sudden when I try to use my browser on my bb curve 9300, I type in the address I want and it begins to load but then just stops and goes back to the start when you first open the browser (that page where it shows bookmarks and history) so I couldn't open any websites at all. So I went through options to see if there was a setting I could change but didn't find any but I cleared cookies, cache ect but nothing changed. Now when I click on the browser it doesn't open at all! Do you know what is wrong and what I can do to fix this? Will wiping help??

Bob, wiping your BlackBerry takes it back to the factory default, so the OS will still be there.

When you wipe a blackberry clean, does that mean it wipes everything, including the OS? I want to wipe my blackberry to get it to default factory settings but keep the OS on it.
