colorware.com is not the right address — not sure what you are directing me to there, but I assume it is a service that will paint your device casing. If you are modifying your device in any way you will void your warranty. A way around this is to buy a full new casing and have that one painted. Keep your old one somewhere safe in case you have to send your BlackBerry in for servicing.

Beau – Let’s be fair here. I think there is room for a number of companies in the custom skins game and DecalGirl and UniqueSkins both represent quality online resources.

The reason I chose these two to profile in the article is because they both displayed top notch customer service and rapid response to my correspondence.

I think each of them provides a unique experience at the moment. With DecalGirl moving into an online custom shop as well then that just makes it all the more competitive.

I support both of these companies and highly recommend the two to anyone who is looking to customize their BlackBerry device.

I have been a satisfied return customer of DecalGirl’s since 2003. DecalGirl is in my opinion the leader of the skin companies out there.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery-but come on…do something original. I think its funny how Uniqueskins has stolen pretty much all of the designs that DecalGirl has had on their site for years. Also the “Note” in DecalGirl’s review is not correct, I have been able to customize a single skin when I have purchased them as a birthday present before.

Now for the main reason that I have and will ALWAYS be a dedicated DecalGirl customer is because of their customer service…it’s PHENOMENAL!!!

This company almost always responds to an email or “custom request” within 24 hours or less. There have been many times that I have sent a custom request in and I have gotten a response from them within minutes of me sending.

Tell me…when was the last time you got personal attention from an online store???
