The BBGeeks crew dropped by the Symbian booth at CTIA, where Dave Zatz and Brian Jacquet were demoing Slingbox for all who are interested. I’ve talked about it a few times before, including last week’s BBGeekcast. Luckily for us, they had a BlackBerry on hand, which was running the Slingbox software. Dave was kind enough let us shoot a demo video of the service. It was running on EDGE, which it’s not intended to do, but it nevertheless looked pretty quality. I can only imagine what it will look like running on 3G, EVDO, and WiFi.

Pretty neat, eh? I had a few questions about the Slingbox for BlackBerry service, and Dave has kindly agreed to answer them. We’ll get them up in the next few days.

Once again, we’re looking at a late-2008 release. They just have to hammer out all the quirks.
